Safety Patrol Franklin

Want to join the School Safety Patrol?
In order to become a member of the Franklin Elementary School Safety Patrol, the following process must be followed:

  1. You must pick up (and complete) the School SSP application with your parent in April. Mrs. Singleton will come to your class and pass out applications when we return from Spring Break.
  2. Your teacher must recommend you. Teacher recommendations are completed during the month of April.
  3. You classroom teacher and the principal must sign your enrollment packet.
  4. Your parents must sign your enrollment packet.
  5. Complete special training provided by School Patrol Officer and School Patrol Advisor beginning in May.

The Franklin Elementary Safety Patrol monitors the crosswalk at the corner of Copeland Avenue and Monroe Avenue before and after school. All members of the patrol squad meet once a week in the STEAM Lab with our community officers.
